I intend this page to be a place to share my own work and to look at the work of other photographers, past and present; art theory, technique, gear, lots about shooting infrared, and no doubt some random tidbits on books, music and design.

I’m based in Sawyers Bay, Port Chalmers – just outside of Dunedin on the south island of New Zealand. I have taught photography, Photoshop and graphic design courses for the online digital film & photography program at the Southern Institute of Technology in Invercargill, and in the Design Department at Otago Polytechnic here in Dunedin. Before my move to New Zealand, I worked as an editorial photo assistant on the picture desk of the Vancouver Sun newspaper.
