Getting some photos printed up by Murray at Mint Gallery today – 17×18″ for the upcoming group show, and a handful of 8×10″ just to see how they look. Some of the photos I thought might look good at the larger size don’t seem to hold up – I think it’s down to grain/detail, contrast, and how complex the compositions are. I’m very happy with the way the larger ones are looking on the matte paper – can’t wait to see them framed.
