This photo is one of many I’ve taken at the various cemeteries in Dunedin – the old stone monuments and leafy settings work well in infrared, and they suit the timeless feel that I’ve been aiming for with this project – circular images don’t necessarily fit in with the usual compositional approach of a rectangle, and that has been very interesting and liberating challenge. I’m going to keep on with the circles and squares until I figure it out.
